Texas Parks and Wildlife stock thousands of Rainbow Trout each year in the Guadalupe River. Stockings are usually from November through February. Rainbow Trout can be caught year round, along with catfish, bass and other species. Cast from our banks or wade out into the cool, clear blue water. Every fish you catch is legal size and some are legendary.
Trout limit, 5 per day per person. A Texas fishing license and trout stamp is required for fishermen, aged 17-64 years. Fishing licenses are available locally.
