Screened-In Shelters

Screened-In Shelters are like camping out in a big, wooden tent. Originally built for groups that wanted to camp but did not have the needed equipment, the shelters remain a good alternative to tent camping.

The 16’ X 24’ wood building has screened windows with curtains. Four (4) bunk beds with mattresses provide eight (8) extra long twin beds. Overhead lights, an electrical outlet and a picnic table complete the inside. You’ll need a sleeping bag or bed linens and a pillow. Bring a fan or a portable heater, if it is cool weather. Shower and restroom facilities are about 30 yards from the shelters. Outside, the covered porch has two built-in benches. Make use of the Bar B Que grill and picnic table for a cookout or build a campfire and gaze at the stars. Campfire wood is sold in the office, or you may bring your own. There is room around each shelter to park vehicles and if you need additional sleeping space, to pitch a tent or two. In addition to the rental for the shelter, every vehicle on the campground property pays the campground fee or a per person fee each night.

Full payment of shelter due to reserve, vehicle and key deposit due upon arrival.

Cancellation Policy: All reservations cancelled prior ot 14 days of check-in date, will be charged a $5.00 paperwork fee per reserved item. All reservations cancelled 14 days or less than the reserved check-in date and/or reservation date, forfeit any payments and/or security deposits applied to the account.
