When you visit Whitewater Sports, you’ll be floating the beautiful Horseshoe Loop on the Scenic Guadalupe River in New Braunfels, Texas. You’ll have the option of going on the following floats:

The Horseshoe Float is taking approximately 2 hours

Cut off and float times are subject to change depending on river flow

LOCATION

Whitewater is conveniently located right on the Guadalupe river and only 12 miles from IH-35.

Directions

FROM SAN ANTONIO

Take IH-35 North to New Braunfels, Texas.
Take Exit 191: FM 306 (Canyon Lake)
Approximately 14 miles on the right.

FROM AUSTIN

Take IH-35 South to New Braunfels, Texas.
Take Exit 191: FM 306 (Canyon Lake)
Approximately 14 miles on the right.

FROM I-10/HOUSTON

Take I-10 to exit 607 (FM 78)
Keep left at the fork in the ramp
Turn right onto N TX-46
N TX-46 becomes S TX-46 which becomes TX-46
Turn Right onto N IH-35
Take Exit 191: FM 306 (Canyon Lake)
Approximately 14 miles on the right.

GUIDE TO RELEASE LEVELS

Release Levels refer to the amount of water being released from Canyon Lake Reservoir into the Lower Guadalupe River in CFS (Cubic Feet per Second). Any body of water can be unsafe at any levels. These are recommended levels, but use caution and judgment at all times.
